Caroline Allen

I have 17 years of experience in working with young children as an Early Years practitioner. Teaching is a privilege, every day is different, the children are tomorrow’s future. In Early Years we learn together, the children share insights and perspectives which are inspirational.

In October 2022, I decided to pursue the Certificate in Play Therapy, and I completed my Diploma level qualification in July 2025. Throughout my training, I was privileged to support my clients through some challenging situations including behavioural issues, bereavement, low self-esteem, trauma and anxiety. I have always remained client-centred and have become more driven to support children through their process.

Since qualifying, I have been supporting children and families, working with children who are neurodivergent, who have pathological demand avoidance, emotional based school avoidance, anxiety, self-esteem, friendship and bullying, attachment, early trauma and who have experienced domestic violence.

I am also working with ASGSF, supporting clients referred by them, with schools and private clients. I can travel to schools, and I also have my own therapy space at home.

I am also level 3 Forest School trained, which allows me to offer sessions in an alternative environment. This allows children to explore their interests and emotions in a natural setting.

I work across Telford, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
