Rajvia Kaur

Hello, my name is Raj Kaur. I am a certified and registered Play and Creative Arts Therapist with PTUK, providing one-to-one play therapy for children aged 4–11 within schools, organisations, and in my private practice.

I have experience supporting looked-after children and children who have experienced trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, attachment difficulties, family changes, and multiple overlapping needs.

Before becoming a Play Therapist, my background was rooted in creativity and community work. I studied Fine Art at the University of Kent, where I won multiple awards, before receiving a scholarship to complete an MA in Art in the Public Sphere at Loughborough University. This led me to explore how creativity supports connection, communication, and emotional expression.

Play Therapy allowed me to combine my creative background with my passion for supporting children’s emotional wellbeing. My approach is child-centred and combines creative arts, offering children a safe, accepting space to explore feelings and experiences at their own pace.
