THE HAYCOP OPEN DAY 2019
2019-07-06

Once again, Play to Thrive attended The Haycop Annual Open Day in Broseley. As usual, we took our sand trays and symbols which were very popular with adults and children alike. We also had some symbols for sale which pleased many children.

Additionally, this year, we looked at creating Nature Mandalas. In its most basic description, a Mandala (meaning circle) is said to represent the connection between an individual’s inner and outer world, and created using symbols which have meaning to the creator. Nature Mandalas are simply created using natural objects. When looking at a finished mandalas, whether your own or someone else’s, you may notice a variety of different aspects, both consciously and unconsciously created, which may have additional meaning for you in relation to your life and journey. Creating Mandalas can be incredibly therapeutic.
